KUBIX GENERAL Q & A
Kubix Festival will now be held across two weekends on the following days:
- The Kubix dance/pop extravaganza is on Saturday 15th July 2023
- The Kubix day of rock, indie day and much more, is on Saturday 22nd 2023
Due to huge public demand, after this year's sell out, the Kubix Pop & Dance day will be held on Saturday 15th July 2023, which means a whole day of brilliant live music and much easier than a friday night, for everyone to get to, for the day. Much more to enjoy - all day!
The Kubix rock and indie festival is on Saturday 22nd July 2023 on the following weekend.
More music, more choice and two weekends to choose from - or why not come to both!
Covid created a rapidly evolving landscape for events in the UK. Outdoor live events and festivals are back but our team, will continue to plan a series of comprehensive safety and hygiene measures, to ensure that public safety and specifically Covid-19 safety is of the utmost importance.
We will fully comply with any legal requirements in place and react swiftly to any further changes to requirements or legislation, and keep customers fully informed of this and all other steps that we are taking, to ensure that the safety of our customers is not compromised in any way.
We will also be ensuring that a dedicated team of trained cleaners are providing regular and thorough deep cleaning of all commonly touched items, toilets, tables, bar surfaces etc. There will be ample hand sanitiser and disinfectants available and customers will be readily encouraged to make frequent use of these facilities.
Kubix Festival began as an effort by a group of local promoters to deliver first class quality entertainment by sensational recording artists, at a price that won’t hurt your pocket! We’re fans ourselves and want to see live music remain as accessible as possible to all fans, which is why we continue to keep our prices so reasonable for such brilliant line-ups! 2022 was a huge succes and we can promise that 2023 will be bigger and better, but still fantastic value.
After a brilliant 2022 we're back for a fifth year in 2023 and we've got even better events planned, on both weekends, as we're busy working on lots of improvements to make 2023's Kubix, the best festivals possible.
There will be lots of bars, with much more choice of drinks next year, a wider range of food options, including vegetarian, vegan and more specialist caterers, plus a funfair and lots of extra activities coming - for adults and kids alike.
Parking is FREE and available within Herrington Country Park. On your arrival, our Stewards will direct you to the appropriate parking area which includes disabled parking (VIP Guests will have access to a separate parking area even closer to the event).
Shuttle bus services will be improved next year with more buses delivering you to the door of the event. A small charge will be made to cover the costs of this service, but again, we’ve kept it to an absolute minimum!
There will be another huge outdoor main stage with the most spectacular production yet, planned, and a big second stage in a huge big top, giving you even more choice. It will have a few surprises with bands, DJs and artists you've maybe never seen, but now's your chance.
There's a camping option again on the night of each festival (15th and 22nd July 2023) offering a dedicated camp site next door to the music arena, with Camping tickets offering you the chance to stay and party on the Saturday night, and not worry about how to get home at night!
It's all here for you - two Kubix weekends of incredible live music!
The gate opening times are:
SATURDAY 15TH JULY 2023 - 12.00pm
SATURDAY 22ND JULY 2022 - 11.00am
If you have purchased bus tickets, the bus pick up times will ensure you arrive each day before the music starts and they will return to the same pick up/drop off points after the music finishes each night. Car Parks will open 30 mins before the gate opening times.
The Event will finish around 10.50pm on each day and shuttle buses will wait until everyone who’s booked a bus ticket has boarded for the return trip.

Yes, you can. Once you have entered the event, you can leave any time you wish and re-enter (further picnics cannot be brought in on re-entry) by showing your wristband, which you will be given. There will, however, be a last entry time to the event of 8pm on each day, after which time you will not be able to re-enter the event. This is to allow us to ensure that as much attention as possible to paid to the running of the event at its busiest times and the site can be made ready for the exit of all of the attendees in a safe manner.
Unused Tickets from the 2022 festival cannot be used for the 2023 event.
We provide a small amount of seating and tables around the bar area, but cannot provide enough for everyone. If you would like to bring your own folding chairs or blankets, please feel free. There will, however, be an area immediately in front of the stage which will be marked as standing only and no chairs/blankets will be permitted in that area for safety reasons.
Kubix is an open-air 'music in the park' style event with great views from all areas of the park and video screens for enhanced viewing enjoyment.
Unfortunately, for safety reasons, we are unable to allow dogs onto the Festival site, except for guide or assistance dogs, who will be permitted.

There will be a number of Vegan, Vegetarian and Gluten-free choices available.
Not all dishes served by caterers will be suitable for specific dietary requirements, so please check to see what options are available.
