Kubix Festival is an effort by a group of local promoters to delivery 1st class quality entertainment by sensational recording artists, at a price that won’t hurt your pocket! We’re fans ourselves and want to see live music remain as accessible as possible to all fans, which is why we keep our prices so reasonable for such brilliant line-ups!
Parking is FREE and available within Herrington Country Park. On your arrivals, our Stewards will direct you to the appropriate parking area (VIP Guests will have access to a separate parking area even closer to the event).
A shuttle bus will run to and from nearby cities delivering you to the door of the event. A small charge will be made to cover the costs of this service, but again, we’ve kept it to an absolute minimum!
Certainly! Kubix Festival is a family friendly event and children of all ages are welcome! Junior tickets allow access, at a reduced price, for children aged 15 and under, provided they are accompanied by a responsible Adult over the age of 18. Children under 5 are free and do not require a ticket.
VIP Ticket holders get the full experience including dedicated parking near the Event entrance, Q-Jump into the event, a private heated marquee including indoor and outdoor seating and tables, Q-jump at the bar, a hot served meal on each day and (the most sought after feature at any festival) private, posh toilets! There is a strictly limited number of VIP tickets and once they’re sold out, we will be unable to add any further tickets.
There are 4 Shuttle Bus routes available, tickets for all of which will be available for purchase on our website in March.
Route 1: Sunderland City Centre – Kubix Festival. Tickets for this route will be £3.85
Route 2: Durham City Centre – Kubix Festival. Tickets for this route will be £3.85.
Route 3: Newcastle City Centre – Gateshead Town Centre – Kubix Festival. Tickets for this route will be £4.25.
Route 4: Middlesbrough Centre – Hartlepool Marina – Kubix Festival. Tickets for this route will be £4.25.
There is a large car park within Herrington Country Park which will be manned by our stewards. There is NO CHARGE for this car parking at Kubix Festival. If you have a VIP ticket, you will have access to a further car park right at the door of the event, included in the price of your VIP ticket.
Kubix Festival 2018 is a non-camping event, however the shuttle bus service means that you can access the best hotel deals in various cities in the area and rest assured that the shuttle bus will take you direct to and from the event.
Yes, Kubix Festival operates its own bars enabling us to offer very competitive drink prices.
We will be offering a good selection of lagers, ciders and beers (draught and bottled), alongside great real ales, cocktails, spirits, wines and a range of soft drinks.
The bar will open on Friday @ 3.30pm and Saturday @ 12.30pm and will close shortly before the music ends on each night.
We use a token system to speed up bar service at Kubix Festival. No cash is handed over at the bar. You simply buy tokens at the nearby booth (accepting cash or card payments) and use these tokens to pay for your drinks. The tokens are non-refundable so please only buy what you will need for the weekend.
Kubix Festival operates a strict Challenge 25 policy. If you’re lucky enough to look younger than you are, please remember to bring ID and don’t be offended if our staff ask to verify your age.
There will be a great variety of British and World foods available at the Festival to ensure there is something available for everyone. Not all dishes served by caterers will be suitable for specific dietary requirements, so please check to see what options are available.
The gates to the event will open at 3.30pm on the Friday and 12.30pm on the Saturday. Shuttle buses will begin the first pick-ups approximately 1 hour before that on each day and Car Parks will open 30 mins before the start times.
The Event will finish around 10.45pm on each day and shuttle buses will continue to run until everyone who’s booked has been returned to their start point.
Travelling southbound on the A1, take the turnoff for the A1231 (Washington,Sunderland). At the 1st roundabout, take the 3rd Exit (A1231, Washington, Sunderland). At the next Roundabout, take the 3rd Exit (A182). At the next Roundabout take the 1st Exit to continue on the A182. At the next Roundabout, take the 2nd Exit onto the A183 (Sunderland). Continue on this road until you reach Herrington Country Park.
Travelling northbound on the A1, take the turnoff for the A690 (Sunderland). Continue on the A690 until you reach the A19. At the Roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A19. Take the next exit signposted A183 (Sunderland). Take the 1st Exit at the Roundabout and follow the road until you reach Herrington Country Park.

Kubix Festival goes to great lengths to ensure the event is accessible to everyone. This includes the availability of accessible parking, toilets and the design of the site utilises hardstanding routes to make the event as accessible as possible for wheelchair users.
There is also a raised platform for wheelchair users to view the event, though it does have a capacity and will be first come first served to wheelchair users and their companions. Any person with additional needs who requires a ticket for a carer or assistant, can contact Kubix Festival who will make provisions for this directly.
Kubix Festival aims to be much more than just the live music and there will be various other activities within the event, including fairground rides and novelty attractions and a variety of traders exhibiting items for sale along the theme of the event.
